Jason Heinz and his wife Jackie have three daughters: Sierra, Karesse, and Ariah. Jason graduated from Rolette High School, MSU Bottineau and then Minot State. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing, playing softball, ice skating with his family, snowmobiling, working on the farm and shooting in the trap league in the summer. He is on the Board of Directors for the Rolette Country Club, volunteers on the fire department and ambulance squads, teaches hunter safety, and substitute teaches for Sunday School, and also volunteers as the head usher at the Valle Lutheran Church. Throughout his teaching career at Rolette, he has coached football, baseball, boys and girls basketball, and volleyball. He jokes that he once even took the girls track team to a meet!
