TRACK RESULTS: Ray McDaniel Devils Lake Meet, May 5, 2008 100 M Hurdles: Kristyn Nelson, 1st place, 15.15--STATE QUALIFIED 300 M Hurdles: Kristyn Nelson, 1st place, 46.53--STATE QUALIFIED, NEW MEET RECORD, NEW SCHOOL RECORD!! This also has Kristyn tied for 1st time in the state in the 300 Hurdles. 100 M Dash: Alex Webster, 5th place, 13.83. 200 M Dash: Kristyn Nelson, 2nd place, 26.53--STATE QUALIFIED, NEW SCHOOL RECORD!! 400 M Dash: Alex Webster, 8th place, 65.42. Shot Put: Alex Langan, 4th place, 34'0. Javelin: Alex Webster, 1st place, 118'10"--STATE QUALIFIED Javelin: Kacie Beattie, 3rd place, 111'3". 4X100 Relay: Kristyn Nelson, Kaylee Scott, Alex Webster, Kacie Beattie, 6th place, 53.35. High Jump: Kelsey Tofte: Tied 8th place, 4'3".

The team scored 58 points and finished 6th place of 18 teams behind Jamestown, Bottineau, Griggs County, Langdon and Park River. GREAT JOB GIRLS--KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

JR/SR BANQUET: The Jr/Sr Banquet is tonight at 6:30 in the high school gym.

Close Up Students: Remember there is an American Legion Meeting this Wednesday at 7:30 at the Memorial Hall. Please have your presentation ready!! Please be at the memorial by 7:20 to help set up.

2008-2009 CLOSE UP: THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR ANY SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS INTERESTED IN CLOSE UP NEXT SCHOOL TERM. THE MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE FOURTH GRADE ROOM DURING HOMEROOM (TODAY) TUESDAY MAY 6, 2008. EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF YOU WANT TO GO, PLEASE COME AND GET SOME INFORMATION.

Thursday, May 15: Graduation practice at 9:00 AM Awards program at 12:30 Dismissal at 1:15.
