College and Scholarship information is listed on the schools website under
Counselors Corner. Check regularly as scholarships come in weekly this time of year.
There will be a Financial Aid workshop at 5:00 on Wednesday, January 18th. The meeting will be held at the school in the ITV room. All seniors and their parents should attend. Juniors and their parents are welcome to attend to get a head start on the process for next year.
Seniors were given a paper form of the FAFSA and a FAFSA worksheet at school. You can also apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. All other sites are scams!!!!!
The FAFSA deadline for North Dakota is March 1st. It is recommended that taxes for 2005 be filed before filling out the FAFSA. Applying online for the FAFSA is the fastest and most complete way to file as errors are detected right away. Sending in a paper copy can take 8-12 weeks to fully processed-not including time to fix errors.
If you have questions bring them to the financial aid meeting or contact Mrs. Entzi at 246-3595.
